⚽️Culter FC Merge with Culter Youth FC⚽️

Beth Towsey12 Jan - 10:07

Culter Football Club is delighted to announce the official merger with Culter Youth Football Club.

This merger marks a significant milestone for football development in Peterculter and the surrounding communities in Deeside.

Since their respective formations, Culter FC and Culter Youth FC have operated as separate entities there have been several attempts over the years to bring the two clubs together, various factors meant a merger was not previously feasible.

We are therefore now extremely pleased that both clubs can now formally unite, creating a stronger, more sustainable structure that enhances opportunities for young, aspiring players within the local area.

The merger between the clubs represents a natural and strategic step forward. It establishes a clear development pathway from grassroots football in Peterculter through to the senior first team, strengthening player progression and community engagement.

The newly formed Culter Community Football Club (CCFC) has ambitious plans. Immediate priorities include raising the necessary funding to install floodlights at Crombie Park and working towards achieving our SFA licence. Securing this licence will enable the club to enter additional Highland League competitions and continuous participation in the Scottish Cup. The longer-term ambition is potential promotion to the Highland League, this very much subject to the continued success on and off the pitch. While there are challenges ahead, this merger represents a vital step in achieving those goals.

For Culter Youth FC, this development offers a clear pathway for its players, and more access to Crombie Park for training, key matches and further utilisation to enhance its offering to its players and staff.

CCFC will work closely with the SFA and the Highland League with the aim of entering an Under-18s team into the Highland League Development League at the earliest possible opportunity. This will enhance player development and make Culter Youth FC one of the most exciting Clubs to play for.

Thanks,
Culter Community Football Club
